Meerut murder case accused Muskan Rastogi and Sahil Shukla are now spending their days and nights in jail. The jail official said that Muskan has demanded a government lawyer. She said that her parents will not fight the case.After the heartbreaking murder, the accused Sahil Shukla and Muskan Rastogi are now spending their days in jail. It was told that even in jail they were craving for drugs. They are not even eating food. The jail administration has resorted to medicines and counseling to get them rid of the addiction.
Muskaan's desperate plea
He added Muskan and Sahil were brought to the jail three days ago. As soon as they arrived, they started demanding that they be kept in a nearby barrack. However, it was clearly told that according to the system in the jail, there is no contact between the male and female barracks. In such a situation, both have been kept separately. Whenever a prisoner comes, his health is tested. Drugs are not available in the jail. They are being given medicines. They are being counseled through the de-addiction center and are being engaged in yoga and meditation.
Muskaan begs for Govt Lawyer
He said, our effort is that common prisoners should stay away from them and not ask about their case again and again. He told, Muskan had expressed her desire to meet. When I called her, she said that her family members are angry with her. They will not fight the case. In such a situation, she should be provided a government lawyer. A letter is being sent to the court regarding this.

He said, they were not aware of the jail system. The men and women barracks are half a kilometer away. When they were explained, they agreed. He said, they were not demanding drugs. However the doctors informed that they are drug addicts. Medicines are given to those who have been taking drugs for a long time. They are gradually improving. They will get rid of their drug habit in 10 to 15 days. He said that Sahil has not yet taken any decision regarding the public lawyer.
Muskaan: My Parents will not fight my case
Regarding the security of the jail, he said, not much can be said about the court procedure and the high profile case, but CCTV, jailers and I myself are taking full care of the security. The common prisoners have been told not to remind them about the case again and again.
Let's also tell you that Muskan's parents had already said that Saurabh was a good husband but their daughter was wrong. Saurabh was an officer in the Merchant Navy. He was in London for the last two years. According to reports, after returning from London, he came to know about Muskan and Sahil's affair. After this, Muskan and Sahil together made a plan to kill him. Muskan killed Saurabh and hid the pieces of the body in a drum and herself went to Shimla with Sahil. After about 13 days it was found that Saurabh's body was in the drum. After this Muskan and Sahil have been arrested.
